At Fayalobi, our unwavering mission is to passionately cultivate and nurture the profound fellowship among the people of Suriname. With dedication, we stand by them in their moments of need, making an impactful difference in their lives. Our relentless commitment extends to showcasing the captivating tapestry of Suriname's territory, celebrating its harmonious contrasts, and fostering unbreakable bonds among Suriname's sons and daughters, leaving an indelible mark of unity and warmth in our community.
We are proud to offer a diverse array of impactful programs and services aimed at empowering the Surinamese community to not only adhere to the Constitution of the United States of America but also thrive within its framework. Our mission is to provide robust guidance on acquiring the vital documentation required for their unique needs, ensuring that their actions make a meaningful impact while upholding the principles enshrined in the Constitution.
Over the past 29 years, our unwavering commitment to educating our daughters and sons about their heritage has had a profound impact. We have immersed them in the richness of our culture, tantalizing cuisine, exhilarating sports, rhythmic dance, age-old homemade remedies, and the inspiring tapestry of our country's history. Moreover, our dedication extends to sharing invaluable knowledge about the laws and regulations of the United States, ensuring that they are well-equipped to navigate this complex terrain with confidence and wisdom.
Fayalobi USA, a non-profit organization established in 1994 in Tampa, Florida, has recently undergone a rejuvenation led by the former President, Truus Li fo Sjoe. Her proactive approach included the invitation of younger members to join the board, breathing new life into the organization.
In the wake of our unforgettable Suriname reunion event on May 28, 2023, in Tampa, Florida, we collectively made the decision to overhaul the board and embark on a creative brainstorming journey. Our primary aim is to safeguard our cultural heritage and foster a vibrant Surinamese community within the United States of America.
Additionally, our mission extends to providing unwavering support for our cherished senior citizens back in Suriname, ensuring that they receive the care and attention they so rightly deserve..
